The Fireballs
Around 1:30 AM, we witnessed the brightest fireball of the night. It left a glowing train that persisted for nearly 2 seconds! Multiple photographers captured it from different angles.
Community Spirit
This gallery wouldn’t exist without our amazing members who braved the cold (it dropped to 12°F!) to capture these moments. Special thanks to:
- Sarah M. - Fireball captures
- James K. - Star trail composite
- The Rodriguez Family - Group shots and the amazing empanadas!
Tips for Next Year
Based on this year’s experience:
- Arrive early - Give your eyes 30 minutes to adapt
- Dress warmer than you think - Seriously, add another layer
- Bring a reclining chair - Your neck will thank you
- Use a wide-angle lens - You never know where the next meteor will appear
